Occupation Incubus Images & References X X X x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x Information & Backstory Jeremiah started out as a lower angel and was barred from Heaven after he was found to be lusting after male humans and angels alike and acted upon this lust after a test of loyalty from God. He was stripped of his angelic appearance and rank, cast into Hell, and was put under Asmodeus' rule as an incubus. While Jeremiah is a demon, he is not inherently evil. He's just a giant skank.

As far as personality goes, Jeremiah is still young (comparatively) and as such he's rather arrogant and somewhat impatient. He, partially by choice, lives perpetually in the 16th century as far as his knowledge (or lack thereof) of technology goes and tends not to understand how and why many things on Earth (including most laws and the lack of a universal language) work or are the way they are. Because of this, he tends to become confused somewhat easily when placed in a fairly urbanized area on Earth. However, he is absolutely fascinated by some aspects of human culture, such as language, dairy products (especially ice cream), expensive wines, and books. He has quite an extensive library with books in over a dozen languages and always likes to get more.

He has the ability to shapeshift to a human form and gendershift (though he doesn't like to) in either form. He can control his appearence at will to a relatively moderate degree: Hair color, length, style, and in human form to act as a disguise, some facial features. His eye color and slitted pupils will not change and his ears stay slightly pointed. To remedy the obvious problem of his inhuman eyes, he often wears sunglasses to conceal them. He is very imbalanced and sort of clumsy in his human form due to the lack of his tail to help balance. In whatever form he takes, typically, holy objects (holy water, crosses, bible pages, etc) will sting his skin but will not make any visible marks and will tend to keep him away often enough if his presence is not desired.

He is somewhat atypical for an incubus; instead of spending his time on Earth laying the sleeping, he instead stays in his rather plush home in Hell in a sort of 'residential' area for the demons in a very large cave-like structure in the second circle (it's actually fairly cold in this cave, averaging around 35-40° F, and it isn't much warmer inside the house), going to Earth usually only to convince those who are already damned to follow him and become his personal callboys. He has nine of these callboys at almost all times and will travel to Earth should he decide to throw one out.

For the most part he is very generous with his harem and they are free to do as they wish throughout the residence as long as they serve him well and behave themselves. They are fed (though they do not need to eat), clothed, given separate (fairly spacious) rooms, and generally probably live a better life than they did on Earth. He tends to pick up those who are either not content in life or he doesn't feel deserve to suffer in Hell for petty misdeeds that a somewhat sadistic God deems to be worthy of condemnation. Either that, or he just thinks they're particularly pretty.
